| BrainFacts.org - new website explores the wonders of the brain and mind |
|
IBRO joins the Canadian Institutes of Health Research; Dana Foundation; NINDS; NIMH; the Foundation for Biomedical Research; and the Wellcome Trust as an inaugural Content Partner in the newly launched www.BrainFacts.org. Initiated by the Society for Neuroscience, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation and the Kavli Foundation, the site will be a major step forward in presenting the brain and neuroscience in an accessible way to the public, organized to reflect the deep interconnections between topics in the field. We can imagine that there will be many ideas and possibilities imagined for the future, including ways to leverage this powerful technology and strategy platform to pursue new activities and partnerships that take advantage of Web-based communications. |
