The IBRO-LARC Advanced School of Neuroscience "Neurotransmitter Receptors: Signaling and Stimulus Transcription Coupling", held in Mexico City, was co-directed by Arturo Ortega and José Aguilera.
The local Organizing Committee selected 28 graduate students from among more than 130 applicants. Excellent students from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Peru, Venezuela, Spain, and Uruguay attended and more than 40 lecturers participated.
